Acknowledgements

This keyboard is developed through Translation Commons’ Language Digitization Initiative. These resources aim to empower Indigenous and minority language communities to bring their languages online.

Dr. Stephen Morey, Emeritus of Latrobe University, Melbourne, AU provided the motivation and expertise for creating this keyboard layout. Note that the Tangsa community is actively using this and other scripts in education and literacy.

The Lakhum script was added to the Unicode standard with the release of version 14.0 in 2021.
