Web Copywriter

Translation Commons is currently in need of two volunteers for the role of Web Copywriter. The volunteers must be over 18 years of age.

We are seeking a talented Web Copywriter to help us craft engaging, informative, and inspiring web content. Your words will connect with a global audience, helping to recruit volunteers, promote our mission, and communicate the impact of our work. You’ll collaborate with our team to create clear, consistent, and compelling copy for our website.

Qualifications:

• Strong writing skills with a knack for creating concise and engaging web content.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and web content optimization.
• Experience in web copywriting, content creation, or marketing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Passion for language, translation, and promoting global linguistic diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized copy for various pages of the Translation Commons website.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency, and adherence to our tone and brand guidelines.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to create content and ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with our design and web development teams to ensure content aligns with UX goals.
• Research and implement best practices for web content to increase engagement and accessibility.
